UPDATE: The folks boarding the dogs seems to be Alex and Lana Vartanian.

My partner recently boarded their dogs in Roxborough with someone named Lana V through Rover. The place is located at 616 Crestview Rd.

When we went to pick the dogs up, the host was unresponsive at the agreed upon pick-up time. When my partner walked around the back to knock on the back door they could see inside the house and saw animals overcrowded in pens, some roaming unleashed while others were leashed so tight to walls they could not lay down or access food or water, all unfamiliar dogs mixed together, dogs next to open containers of toxic substances like detergent, dirty conditions, etc. etc.

So far the police, Rover, and animal control have been unhelpful (no surprise there).

I’m going to post photos of the conditions so be warned.

I am also going to post screenshots of Lana Vee’s profile. The entirety of this transaction, my partner communicated with a male who said he did this with his sister but she was out of town at the moment. This seems like an obvious lie now. They also said they board 4-6 dogs at a time and their are obviously more than that in the space.

If you’ve ever interacted with a Rover profile with similar content, even if the name and photo are different please reach out. It’s highly likely this person has to use multiple profiles to maintain anonymity.

This person has soooooo many positive reviews (which I assume many are fake), and if we had allowed him to bring the dogs out for us when we picked up, we would have never known.

Anybody in the area know this address, had issues with this person/profile, or know anything that can be helpful, PLEASE reach out. Those dogs need to get out of there and this person should not be allowed to care for animals.
